Shed Hunting

  Saturday, Ethan my Brother and I went shed hunting for the day. Of coarse I cannot keep up with Ethan for the life of me so I would wander around for a minute and eventually make my way back to the bikes. I had to take my bike back to the trailer because it can't handle going through so much mud. My back and my head were covered in mud! There was literally no possible way to avoid it either. Besides that, it was such a nice sunny day. The three of us got so sun burnt, I am finally starting to peel haha.

My bike obviously cant handle the Fruitland challenge  :)


  There were tons of deer around. They would just stop and watch us ride by or run away. But when we're up there for the deer hunt of coarse we never see them :/ When we drove down the road my brother spotted a cow elk in the middle of the road that most likely died during winter. It was pretty gross. I stumbled upon what I think was a bull that was poached. You could see that the horns were kicked off. Ethan jumped 3 bull elk out of their beds. He said their horns were already starting to branch out. I wish I could have seen them.

  My brother was the successful one. He spotted a shed down hill that was probably 6 years old.. That is Ethan's estimate :) haha It was growing moss.

  We will have many more shed hunting adventures until the deer hunts finally arrive.

   September 16th is the day Ethan asked me to marry him! I figured something was up because he wasn't acting himself all day. I got home from work and we left to go out to Tooele. We took butterfield canyon to save time, Plus that's our favorite way to go in the summer time. :) The whole way up he kept saying "do you hear that?" and of coarse I said no. So finally he said "I'm pulling over". He got out and looked under his truck and said " Awww Sh** come look at this Teegun" ( haha I had to block it out everybody ) So i got out of the truck, walked around to the back, and there he was.. down on one knee, with my beautiful engagement/wedding ring. ( It came with a second band ) He didn't ask if I would marry him, And later he told me he didn't want to ask cause he didn't want to start crying  :) I took the box and he took out the ring and put it on my finger. I coulnd't stop smiling. It was by far the best day of my life!

  Ethan and I have been engaged for 7 months now. I have my wedding dress But we still have a lot of things to do! I can't wait until our BIG day!
